In May 2015, Legal Aid at Work staff unanimously petitioned to join ESC Local 20.  Nearly a year later, they emerged from this fight with union representation and a strong contract that addresses the unique issues of legal non-profit employment, such as burnout.  The story of perseverance and dedication was featured in the Fall 2016 issue of the IFPTE Outlook magazine.
